Sidharth Malhotra’s alleged relationship with his ‘Student of the Year’ co-star Alia Bhatt has been the talk of the town for a long time now. While the two have never really admitted to the relationship in media, they are often spotted together on dinner dates and outings.

Surprisingly, when in a recent interview with the DNA Sidharth was asked if he is in love with someone, the ‘Reload’ actir confessed, “Yes, I’m in love!” This is the first time Sidharth has made such a revelation. He was further asked what he’s like when he is in love, to which he added, “Passionate, obsessive and very attached. There are a few people I get attached to in my life and when I do, I get very sensitive. I have bad ways of communicating. I communicate indirectly. Maybe through some actions, gesture; I won’t be saying yes or no directly at times.”

He continued, “If I’m left alone with that person, I will truly show my best and worst side. That’s what I believe true love should be like. You cannot put up a front of being this perfect guy always, helping out, understanding all the time. You should show your good side and the dark side, too. Because that’s what I believe life is about.”

When asked how many relationships he has been in so far, Sidharth said, “I have had my share, but not too many, maybe just a couple of relationships. Being the person who gets attached, I also at times find it very hard to commit to one person at this stage in life. How I am in love is also determined by the person I am dating!”

He further asserted that he was never left heartbroken when any of his relationships ended, “As I said, I have not felt the emotion of heartbreak. I have never felt like a ‘dukhi aatma’ after a break-up. I believe things have a way of working out and if they haven’t worked out, maybe it’s not the right thing.”

Sidharth was asked whether he would prefer a love marriage or arranged one, to which he said, “My parents are very supportive. They push us to be out there, have that relationship, make our own choices and live up to it and back it by getting married to that girl. So, I don’t understand the arranged marriage set-up.”
