Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee shoot in Kashmir for 'Aiyaary'

Neeraj Pandey's next, 'Aiyaary' starring Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee is all set to hit the theatres in 2018. An intense crime drama based on true events, Neeraj Pandey has wrapped up the first, seven-day schedule in Kashmir and is presently shooting on the outskirts of Delhi. The Delhi schedule of the film will be shot over a period of next three weeks and after that, the crew will head to Mumbai, London and Oman.


Talking about the schedule in Kashmir, a source close to the film said that the team has interacted closely with the locals and jawans. The source revealed, "It was humbling to witness the difficult conditions in which the jawans lived and the constant danger they faced. For the jawans too, interacting with Sid and Manoj and posing for pictures with them was a wonderful experience."

The source further added, "Given the kind of films Neeraj and Friday Filmworks always make, people everywhere have faith that he will not misrepresent the locals or the state as a whole. The authorities were extremely supportive given the sensitivity of the story and the shooting locations and it was a wonderful experience for everybody involved."

'Aiyaary' will feature Manoj Bajpayee as the mentor and Sidharth Malhotra as his protégé. The two will be seen playing two strong-willed individuals, who are right in their own way! As of now, 'Aiyaary' is scheduled for a January 26 release.
