The real reason why Sidharth Malhotra turned down Salman’s ‘Race 3’

While it was earlier reported that Sidharth Malhotra will be a part of Salman Khan’s ‘Race 3’, recent reports say that Sidharth has turned down the role. There are no date issues, however Sid simply isn’t happy with the script and has politely turned down the movie.
“Sid didn’t like the script. And he was clear about it. He didn’t dilly-dally and keep the makers waiting. He politely turned down the offer,” revealed a source close to the development. Talking more about the character the source added, “There is a face-off between these two characters — Salman and the other hero. So, it isn’t a menial role. After Salman’s, this is the biggest role in the film, anyway. Also, Sid and Salman are extremely fond of each other. The two-hero equation wasn’t the reason at all. He has done ‘Brothers’ with Akshay Kumar before so it wasn’t an issue here, too.”
Coming to the leading lady in the movie, various names like Daisy Shah, Jacqueline Fernandez and Katrina Kaif are being thrown into the picture. There were reports that Jacqueline has even been locked for the part. However, no official announcement has been made by the makers yet. The movie wil be helmed by Remo D’souza.
