Singer Arjun Kanungo’s father passed away due to liver cancer

Indian singer, composer, actor, and song-writer Arjun Karungo’s father passed away due to liver cancer on the 29th of April 2020. The actor announced the demise of his father on social media by sharing a childhood image with his dad. The Aaya Na Tu singer captioned the post as “Until we meet again Dad. Rest in peace.”


According to the singer, his father was battling liver cancer for a long time. The actor took to Instagram to inform his fans, friends and family that his dad was in stage 4 of liver cancer in 2019 and had also mentioned that his father was “fighting like a champ” although the condition is“ f****** scary”.


Many notable personalities from the Bollywood industry commented to Arjun’s post to pay their last respect to the singer’s father, including Bobby Deol, Anurag Kashyap, Badshah, and many others.
Arjun also updated his Instagram story saying, “Today’s been a difficult day,” “A stone I died and rose again a plant; A plant I died and rose an animal; I died an animal and was born a man. Why should I fear? What have I lost by death?”
