It was only yesterday that the reports of hackers launching a worldwide attack on the internet with a ransomware named 'WannaCry' started doing rounds. It was further reported that they had stolen a copy of 'Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' starring Johnny Depp and were demanding a huge amount. If the production house does not comply, they further threatened to leak the film.

In a similar incident, 'Baahubali' makers too were threatened and were asked to pay Rs 15 lakh if they didn't want the film to be leaked. According to reports in a leading tabloid, Hyderabad police arrested six persons for allegedly trying to extort money from Karan Johar and other producers of 'Baahubali 2' by threatening to circulate the pirated copy of the recently released film.

Amongst the gang of six people, one of the accused is an owner of a Bihar theatre. The police further alleged that the gang regularly makes pirated copies of Bollywood films.
