Sonakshi Sinha on ‘Welcome to New York’: It was really exciting to be reuniting with Salman Khan

The ‘Dabangg’ co-stars Sonakshi Sinha and Salman Khan will reunite again for a special song number in ‘Welcome to New York’. The song is titled ‘Nain Phisal Gaye’. Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha have created magic on screen before as well. The song will be a soft number which will portray the dream sequence between Sonakshi Sinha and Salman Khan in the film. The film stars Karan Johar and Diljit Dosanjh as well.


Sonakshi Sinha said, “It was really exciting to be reuniting with Salman for our third film together after ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Dabangg 2’. We shot the song entirely in New York. It was nostalgic in many ways; the romantic, melodious song has been filmed beautifully.”


Director Chakri Toleti said, “It was an absolute delight to shoot this song. The two of them have such great on-screen chemistry and it was a matter of hours and the song was recorded. The two together set the screen on fire.”


‘Welcome to New York’ also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani, and Lara Dutta. The film will release on February 23, 2018.
