Sonakshi Sinha just shared the release date of her next film, 'Noor'.
Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Noor’ finally has a release date. Sonakshi took to Instagram to share the release date of her much-awaited film ‘Noor’ in which she will be seen playing a journalist. The film is based on a book by a Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz titled ‘Karachi, You’re Killing Me’. The story revolves around the life of Noor, a journalist who has her little misadventures and a love life to keep up to.

In June, Sonakshi shared a teaser of ‘Noor’ to announce her role in the film. And now she has finally revealed the release date of her film.

Recently Sonakshi was busy promoting Force 2, and now that the film has finally released she will go back to work on 'Noor'. Sona in many media interactions has expressed her happiness on taking up this project. The film that also stars Purab Kohli is to be directed by Sunhil Sippy and will be produced by T-series. As reports suggest, the film's subject is controversial as Sonakshi's character was inspired from a Karachi based journalist. But Sonakshi shun the rumours in the past, and said, "All I can say is that I am not playing a Pakistani journalist in the film. The film is based on a book, which is written by a Pakistani author. The story has been adapted into a Mumbai backdrop."

Post 'Akira', this is Sonakshi's second women-centric film, and Sona is very excited to play the part. We hope that film manages to keep up with the good vibes.
