Sonam Kapoor: I am not going to take credit for the airport looks

With the airport and gym looks becoming a part of ongoing paparazzi culture, it doesn't come as a surprise that celebrities have begun dressing up for the cameras. These looks have been written about time and again as they make for a good fashion story.

One actress who has redefined the airport looks is Sonam Kapoor. However, the actress recently revealed that she is one of those who doesn't like getting clicked at the airport. Sonam in an interview with a leading daily said, "But, I am not going to take credit for the airport looks because I am one of those few actresses who like it when photographers are not there at airports. If people get to know about my airport outings, it's either from a brand or a publicist; it's never from me. I would never call paparazzi to take pictures of me while I'm enjoying my personal time."

The actress further added, "On the red carpet, I enjoy wearing clothes and dressing up. That only started once my sister Rhea (Kapoor) became my stylist. I just want to be myself. It wasn't about conforming to a certain type that Bollywood is used to and Rhea helped me dress in what I was comfortable with."

On the work front, Sonam will soon begin shooting for sister Rhea Kapoor's 'Veere Di Wedding'. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. Apart from 'Veere Di Wedding', Sonam will be seen as a tabla player in 'Pad Man'. And she also has a substantial role in Rajkumar Hirani's the Sanjay Dutt biopic.
