Sonam Kapoor to show her musical talents in ‘PadMan’?

Everyone is waiting for the release of ‘PadMan’ as they had to shift their release date for ‘Padmaaavat’. The ‘PadMan’ team is busy promoting their film. In the film, Sonam Kapoor will essay the role of a tabla player and also a social activist. The actress shared her musical side recently.


The actress shared a post on Instagram, where she is seen playing tabla on the stage. She wrote, “Every film gives me an opportunity to learn something new #Padman @padmanthefilm @akshaykumar @radhikaofficial.”




Sonam Kapoor took training for learning tabla and she learned from 28-year-old table player and percussionist Mukta Madan Raste. Sonam Kapoor has always played a different kind of roles every time. She was fantastic in ‘Neerja’. She is a hardworking actress and has tried to take up challenging roles always. Sonam Kapoor will be seen next in ‘Veere Di Wedding’ along with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhasker.


‘PadMan’ is helmed by R Balki and it stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte as well in lead roles and the movie is slated to release on 9th February.
