Sonam Kapoor to star in two new films; shooting begins next year

Sonam Kapoor is winning over the audience with her latest roles in her films. The actress has done many interesting films. She also recently received a special mention at the National Film Awards, for her performance in ‘Neerja’. Currently, Sonam is working on sister Rhea Kapoor’s ‘Veere Di Wedding’. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar. Sonam has reportedly also finished filming for Twinkle Khanna’s debut production venture, ‘PadMan’.

In ‘PadMan’, Sonam will be seen portraying the role of a tabla player. Her trainer, Mukta Madan Raste recently told a leading daily, “Sonam has been learning how to play the tabla from me.” Sonam will reportedly play the role of the ‘other woman’ in the film that also stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte.

Sonam reportedly also has a role in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dutt’ biopic. She had shared her excitement by saying, “I just jumped at that chance. I was like ‘I don’t care, tell me what I have to do… If you want me to walk across the frame, I’ll do that’. Unfortunately, I can’t. But I am huge Raju Hirani fan. I have seen every film of his.” The actress also put up a post on Twitter, saying that she had signed two more films and will talk about them soon.
