Singer Sonu Nigam, who was recently embroiled in the 'azaan' controversy has now decided to quit Twitter! The 'Kal Ho Na Ho' singer has quit Twitter claiming that there is no balance on the social media website and it is like 'porn being shown in theatres'. In his parting tweets, the singer mentioned the polarised opinions meted out to Paresh Rawal and Abhijeet Bhattacharya was also one of the reasons why he decided to quit.

Talking about his industry colleague, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, whose Twitter account was suspended owing to offensive content, Sonu tweeted that shouldn't the account of the lady who tweeted about BJP's sex racket also be deleted?

The singer also took a stand for Paresh Rawal's tweet regarding Arundhati Roy. He said that if others don't face flak for posting pictures of Gautam Gambhir in the front of the Army Jeep, then why should Paresh Rawal face the ire for his opinions?
