Sridevi clarifies her statement about not wanting Janhvi to enter Bollywood

Bollywood actress Sridevi recently made a statement regarding her daughter Janhvi’s choice to be an actress that said, “She wanted to do the film (Student of the Year 2) and initially, I wasn't in favour. I don't think it's a bad industry. I am a creation of this world. But, as a parent, it would give me greater joy to see her married. But her happiness matters more, and if she does well as an actress, I will be a proud mother."

However, the comment did not go down too well with some people who started criticizing her for wanting her daughter to get married instead of pursuing her dreams. Claiming that her statement was misunderstood, Sridevi then took to social media and cleared the air around the subject. Check out her tweet:
