Bollywood actress Sridevi is all set to return to the silver screen after five years with the thriller 'Mom'. Helmed by Ravi Udyawar and co-produced by Boney Kapoor, Sunil Manchanda, Mukesh Talreja, Naresh Agarwal and Gautam Jain, the movie is an intriguing tale based on a mother-daughter relationship.

While the actress is currently busy with the movie’s promotions, as soon as that is wrapped up she will start work on her iconic movie ‘Mr.India’s’ sequel. While the makers have retained both Sridevi and Anil Kapoor in the sequel, another younger par will be cast to play pivotal roles. “The idea is to take the story forward, but not just for the heck of it. We wanted a solid plot, and we have got it,” revealed a source close to the development.

While the makers haven’t locked the director after Shekhar Kapur declined the offer, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and 'Mom’s' director Ravi Udyawar are among their next top picks.
