'Student Of The Year 2': 'The Jawaani Song' will get you grooving in no time!

Ever since there was news that 'Student Of The Year 2' was in the making, people were waiting with bated breath for more details of the film to come out. Recently, the trailer of the film was released by the makers and boy it drove everyone crazy. Entertainment, comedy, romance, drama, you name it and the film will have it as was evident by the trailer. While we were already enchanted by the trailer, the makers went ahead and released the latest song titled 'The Jawaani Song' from the film and trust us when we say, you'll get grooving to it in no time.
Like the name suggests, the song is a revamped version of Kishore Kumar’s 1972 track 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' from the film 'Jawani Diwani' and features Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. While the original track had been composed by RD Burman, this newer version has been recreated by Vishal-Shekhar. While some parts of the original vocals sung by Kishore Kumar have been retained in the film, the other vocals have been given by Vishal Dadlani and Payal Dev.
'Student Of The Year' which starred Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra also featured a few remixes like 'The Disco Song' and now 'Student Of The Year 2' seems to have taken a page out of that book with their latest remix. Tiger Shroff is undoubtedly a brilliant dancer while Ananya and Tara too have shown some impeccable dance skills in the song. So, without further ado, take a look at the song for yourself.
Now, wasn't that just amazing? To be honest, Tiger's superb dancing skills stole the show for us. Speaking about the song, director Punit Malhotra said, “Vishal-Shekhar are huge RD Burman fans and they were very excited to work on this song. We acquired it with some effort and when we started working on it, we knew that we were working on something that enjoys cult status. The composers have done their best to ensure that the song retains its original flavour. Hence, we have retained Kishoreda’s original rendition and introduced new lyrics for the girls.”
