Taapsee Pannu: I am not going anywhere

The 'Pink' actress Taapsee Pannu made her onscreen debut seven years ago with Telugu films. Taapsee, who has worked in both, Telugu and Hindi film industry since, in an interaction with 'Humans of Bombay' opened up about her struggles. Taapsee, who has delivered hits like 'Baby' and 'Pink' got candid about how despite the fact that she has delivered hits, the onus of failure always falls on her.
The 'Naam Shabana' actress said, "I was ‘rumoured’ to bring bad luck to films. Mind you, all of these films had huge male co-stars and directors, but the failure of movies was blamed upon my bad luck. Thereafter, I’ve been asked to reduce my pay, I’ve been thrown out of films because the producer was having financial issues."
Taapsee, who has since her debut developed a thick skin said, "Truth is, I’m less heroine and more the ‘hero’ in my story and for some, that’s a bitter pill to swallow, but then that’s tough…because I’m not going anywhere.
