Tamannaah Bhatia upset with her director’s derogatory remarks

The actress took to Twitter to share about director Suraaj’s sexist remarks made on actresses

South actress Tamannaah Bhatia recently took to Twitter to share an indecent behaviour made by her director. The actress tweeted that she’s seeking for an apology from her director Suraaj who made sexist comments which has hurt her terribly. Tamannaah tweeted:

In a recent interview, director Suraaj said, “”If the costume designer comes to me with the heroine’s clothes covering up to the knee, I would strictly order them to shorten the length. I don’t mind even if my heroine is not happy or comfortable, but I insist and get it done. This is because audiences pay money to see the heroines in such clothes.”

Continuing with his misogynistic remarks, the director added, “Let heroines show their acting abilities in television serials. When it comes to commercial films, they are paid only to provide the required sizzle to the money paying audiences.”

The director released an apology letter wherein he apologized for his disgusting remarks on Tamannaah and other actresses in the South industry. Here’s the copy of the letter:
