Teenage actress molestation case: Alleged molester granted bail

A famous Bollywood teenage actress had taken the internet and the Bollywood industry by storm when she had recently posted a video of herself claiming to have been molested by a man. The actress was on a flight from Delhi to Mumbai when a man allegedly rubbed his foot all over her neck and back. The accused named Vikas Sachdev was soon arrested. Following this, his wife claimed that he was innocent and that he had already apologised to the actress as soon as she had yelled at him.
Now, according to reports, a court here on Wednesday has granted bail to Vikas. City civil and sessions court judge A D Deo granted bail to Sachdev (39) on a personal bond of Rs 25,000. The court has also directed Vikas, a resident of suburban Kandivli, to visit the Sahar police station on the first Sunday of every month, and not influence any witness in the case. The court accepted the statement that Vikas had been held by the police illegally before his arrest, and so granted him bail. We wonder what will happen next. Stay tuned for more updates.
