The 'Kalank' teaser will leave you wanting for more!

After unveiling the character looks of the entire ensemble cast of 'Kalank' fans were obviously left wanting for more. The filmmakers of the film finally released a teaser of the film and it’s safe to say, we’re fans. The little over two minutes teaser was way longer than we expected and gave us more than just a glimpse of what’s going to be the biggest romantic drama of the year.
Set in the 40s, the teaser looks every bit of the romantic era, Karan Johar promised it would be. As the teaser progresses, we can the characters of Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in action, resonating with the brief character descriptions the actors said they were going to be.
Madhuri truly embodies the character of an ethereal ‘begum’, Sonakshi’s Satya seems amiable and Alia’s Roop is beautiful but headstrong. The teaser also shows Sanjay Dutt transforming into a formidable patriarch, Aditya Roy into a noble lord and Varun Dhawan into a tough young man in the forties.
The first look of the film seems like forbidden love story between the characters of Alia and Varun, while the rest of the cast add depth to the period drama. But only time will tell what the film is really about.

Earlier, Kalank was scheduled to release on April 19 but now it will hit the screens two days before, on April 17.
