'The Sky Is Pink' trailer will take you on an emotional yet beautiful journey

For quite some time now, the audience has been waiting with bated breath for the trailer of Shonali Bose's upcoming film titled 'The Sky Is Pink'. Featuring a rather talented cast the likes of who include Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim, people were super thrilled to also hear that Priyanka was making a comeback to Hindi cinema with such a different film.
And today, the makers of the film finally released the trailer and let's just say that it will take you on such a beautiful and emotional journey that you'll remember it for a lifetime. The trailer starts off with some mushy romance between Priyanka and Farhan which leads to an accidental pregnancy. They welcome their daughter anyway and turn into one of those typical happy families. That is, until one day their daughter (Zaira) is diagnosed with a life-threatening disease and this puts all of them into spots where they struggle to stay with each other. A narrative by Zaira claims that she's the villain to their love story.
The film is based on the true story of Aisha Chaudhary who was diagnosed with an immune deficiency order at the age of 13 and then chose to become a motivational speaker at such a young age. Priyanka also took to her Twitter account to share the trailer of the film and captioned it, “Presenting the trailer for #TheSkyIsPink- a film about love, made with so much of it! It’s a very proud milestone moment for me, because it’s my first as an actor & co-producer. Hope it gives you all the feels & inspires you to celebrate life!”
