Here's when 'Thugs of Hindostan' and 'Hichki' are set to release

Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan are all set for their first collaboration on screen with 'Thugs of Hindostan'. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif. Amitabh and Aamir shot for the film extensively in Malta and are currently busy with the Mumbai schedule of the movie. Although initially 'Thugs of Hindostan' was scheduled for a Diwali 2018 release, the date has now been confirmed and the movie is now slated to release on November 7, 2018.

Talking about the progress of 'Thugs of Hindostan', Amitabh Bachchan recently took to his blog, and wrote, "The progress on Thugs of Hindostan continues unabated and there is much to be written about, but confidentiality coerces me to preclude you to such observations and so the silence... silence outside, but inside it is a loud and active audience working on the film in various degrees and folds. Nice...shows the strength of pre production. And in particular, a great delight to find so many women on set working harder than the men, in a job which one could never have dreamt about in our times."

Rani Mukerji, on the other hand, is all set to make her comeback into the film industry, with 'Hichki'. The movie is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and is all set to release on February 23, 2018. Rani has supposedly finished shooting for the film.

Earlier while speaking about her comeback, the actress stated, "I was looking for a script that would challenge and excite me, and Hichki came my way. Each one of us has a weakness that pulls us back, it could be a disability or any condition but if we just look at it as simply a hiccup, we can emerge as a winner. It won't come in the way of achieving your dreams. Hichki is built on this positive premise and I have decided to take it up."
