'Thugs of Hindostan' goes over budget by nearly 10 crores

Yash Raj Films have always been known for their exquisite sets, shooting locations and of course, with that comes big budgeted films too. The ambitious Yash Raj Films seem to be upping their own ante when it comes to budgets with their latest and upcoming film 'Thugs of Hindostan' wherein the movie is rumoured to be their most expensive one yet.
YRF is sparing no expense to ensure that the movie turns out to be a blockbuster and sources close to YRF reveal that the film's whopping 90 crore budget just went up by nearly 10 crores more. “There is no compromising with the budget — be it for the stars or for the locations where the film is being shot. The best technicians from the world over have joined hands with producer Aditya Chopra and director Vijay Krishna Acharya”, said a source close to Yash Raj.
The film is rumoured to be packed with some A-list starlets including the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif. No wonder the budget keeps going higher, right? And we also hear that Shah Rukh Khan too might make a very special appearance in the film. A source informs, “Aditya’s instruction to his director Vijay is to make a high-end action-adventure drama with the most spectacular visual effects seen in Hindi cinema. People think the role model for 'Thugs Of Hindostan' is 'Pirates Of The Caribbean'. But, it is a lot more than that. After 'Baahubali', Aditya wants 'Thugs Of Hindostan' to be the next level of showmanship from India on the global platform".
