'Tiger Zinda Hai' was probably one of 2017's most looked-forward-to movie. However, the Salman Khan and Katrina starrer might fall short to beat Aamir Khan's 'PK' but by a small margin. Trade experts had predicted that 'Tiger Zinda Hai' would not just beat 'PK’s' record but will also challenge the all-time number one, again an Aamir Khan starter 'Dangal' but now they might be retracting those earlier-made predictions.

Hit by the 'Padmaavat' storm and despite having a good few weeks, 'Tiger Zinda Hai' might be fizzing out which is leading trade experts to reconsider what they had earlier predicted. “Despite the release of 'Padmaavat', 'Tiger Zinda Hai' managed to collect Rs 1.79 crore over the weekend. But as Monday approached, the film has only collected Rs 21 lakh each on Monday and Tuesday. It may not be able to have legs enough to reach 'PK',” informs the trade source.

Aamir Khan’s 'Dangal' had collected Rs 380 crore, followed by 'PK' with Rs 340 crore. 'Tiger Zinda Hai' at the moment stands at Rs 337.77 crore.
