Twinkle Khanna reveals how she deals with criticism

Twinkle says that the only time criticism would affect her is when it has some validity to it or it’s from somebody she really respects

One of the biggest disadvantages of being in show business is that one is constantly under scrutiny. Talking about it Anushka once said, “This isn’t a normal life at all.” ‘Shahid Kapoor too recently revealed that actors are under such immense pressure to look good all the time that sometimes it takes a toll on their health and fitness.

Recently, Twinkle Khanna was asked her take on the issue. To this, she admitted, “Even if you go to the airport, you find people taking pictures. But at the same time, you have to give yourself that leeway that you can look that terrible and it would still be fine. I am one of those who will be like ready in seven minutes and I’m out.”

Talking about dealing with criticism, Twinkle asserted, “The only time criticism would affect me is when it has some validity to it or it’s from somebody I really respect. If somebody who can’t even spell my name properly and calls me ‘Twinkal’, I really don’t care what they say.”

On the work front, Twinkle is currently working on her first venture as a producer, ‘Padman’. The film is an adaptation of her own novel on Arunachalam Muruganantham, and stars hubby Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte.
