Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma spend 10 hours riding a cycle for 'Sui Dhaaga'

Last October it was announced that Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma were coming together for their film titled 'Sui Dhaaga'. Since then both stars had vowed to stay true to their characters and had even learned how to sew before the shooting of the film began. Recently Varun Dhawan spent close to 10 hours riding a cycle with Anushka sitting behind in the scorching heat of Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh. Since the makers wanted to give the film an absolute authentic look they decided to opt for a cycle which is a common mode of transport in the interiors of the country.

“From the characters’ looks to the costumes and elements, everything is relatable. This is extremely important for the makers as they draw to pull the audience into the film’s world,” a source said. “People in the heartland use bicycles to commute. Varun and Anushka shot for over 10 hours on it in Chanderi. It’s already summer there and the Sun was beating down on them. By the end of the day, both were quite exhausted,” the source continued.
