If you thought that Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor were fantastic together in 'Koffee With Karan', the duo just might do a film together!
According to the latest reports, the two hottest actors from the current lot, Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor have been approached to star in Dharma Productions' next. To be helmed by the director of '2 States', Abhishek Varman, the film has been in production for almost 2 years now and is a period drama set in the partition era.

According to the leading tabloid, producer Karan Johar was not happy with the first draft and has asked Abhishek to make certain changes. While Abhishek chose not to comment on the matter, a source close to the production revealed, "He is fine-tuning the script at the moment and will be presenting the final draft to Karan in a week’s time. Casting is underway. Contrary to rumours, the film is not on the backburner now. Karan didn’t want to go ahead without the perfect script but things seem to be working out now. The film is expected to go on the floors in the coming months."

Earlier titled, 'Kalank', the project has now been renamed to 'Shiddat'. While there has been no official announcement from the producers' end, it will certainly be interesting to see Varun and Arjun come together on the silver screen, especially after their 'Koffee With Karan' appearance.
