While a lot has been said and written about Bollywood's association with various charities and social causes, but one cannot deny that the celebrity association helps grab eyeballs, and put the issue in limelight. Of late various celebrities with the help of their social media handles have spoken about various social causes they believe in, and create awareness about the same.
Recently Varun Dhawan took to his social media to shed light on the cancer awareness initiative that the actor supports. Varun along with the 'Dishoom' team had teamed up for #Dishoomtocancer initiative to promote cancer awareness, and recently shared the results achieved by the initiative on the social media.
Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor also interacted with cancer patients during the promotions of his upcoming, 'Rangoon', and spread cheer among them.
