Varun Dhawan on marriage: It has still not started crossing my mind

Varun Dhawan has always kept his love life under wraps. Often spotted with rumoured girlfriend Natasha Dalal, the actor prefers not to talk about her or mention her name to the media. It is only recently that the actor discussed relationships and marriage plans, however, he abstained from mentioning the name of his lady love.

When a leading daily asked him about the constant rumours of him dating, Varun said, "I have not been making any news. People are finding it to be news, but I don’t know why they think like that."

On being further prodded about being called the lovebirds, Varun added, "This is all very childish. But it’s fine; it doesn’t bother me. I have been a little disconnected of late because my focus is on what’s important (work). Once I am free, I will enjoy then (smiles)."

Talking about his marriage plans, the actor asserts, "No, it has still not started crossing my mind. I have a big thing in front of me that is going to take off — I have to ready my house, which is downstairs [from his family home in Juhu]. That’s the prime focus right now in terms of what I want to achieve. Once that is done, I will think about everything else. It’s still being readied. My mother is doing the interiors."

Varun has always maintained and continues to maintain a certain secrecy around his love life. However, the actor is in a rather happy phase as he is getting his new house ready.

The actor is also said to be quite a ladies man, "I don’t think that’s true. Maybe, initially in my career, I would hear these things, but not now. In the last two-three years, there has been a complete image change (smiles)," says the actor before he signs off.
