Varun Sharma popularly known as ‘Choocha’ will be seen soon on screen in ‘Fukrey Returns’. He gets candid about his character in the film. The actor also said how over worked he was, “Choocha was the first character I ever played so I was kicked to hear that a sequel was in the works. Not many actors get to reprise their debut role. The characteristics and tonality were decided in the original but while prepping for the sequel, I was constantly wary of going overboard. In the last four years, I’ve worked on different characters so there was also a lot of unlearning to play Choocha again.”

Varun Sharma recalls his first day of shoot, “We returned to Delhi University’s Miranda House college on the first day, where the original was shot as well. On the sets, we slipped back into our respective characters seamlessly.”

The ‘Fukrey Returns’ actor talks about his new house which he has bought in Andheri, “My mother is a painter and she likes the new setup. She has decorated the house according to her tastes and it’s comforting as I have lived in a bachelor pad for so long.”

Varun Sharma talks his upcoming project with Govinda, “I’m finished with the first schedule, we start the next by the month-end. It’s going to be a busy New Year for me. But there’s something to look forward to. On January 14, I leave for the US with friends from kindergarten to college. We plan to visit Universal Studios.”
