Vidya Balan restrains from commenting on controversies regarding 'Padmavati'

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmavati' has been the centre of several controversies now. And actress Vidya Balan has chosen to stay tight-lipped about the issues that surround the movie. Vidya has been busy promoting her film 'Tumhari Sulu' and she restrained from making any drastic comments on the matter.
Vidya said that she did not want to make any loose comments especially being the member of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), as she was not aware of the actual series of events. She said, "Because I am in the middle of 'Tumhari Sulu' promotions, I have not kept myself updated about the controversies regarding 'Padmavati'. So, I don't want to make any loose comment about anything, especially being the member of the CBFC".
'Padmavati' has been facing flak from various directions including communal groups as also political. The Karni Sena that demolished the movie sets in Jaipur has also warned the director that he would face serious consequences if the movie didn't contain proper truths or facts.
