It is not uncommon for our celebrities to go under the knife. While some have got their lips plumped, others have got nose-jobs done and so on…Today, we mourn the sudden and unfortunate death of legendary actress Sridevi who succumbed to a cardiac arrest and passed away on Saturday night at age 54.

Now, while social media is flooded with celebrities and fans offering their condolences to Sridevi’s family and are expressing their sadness on various social media platforms, namely Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, one post among the hundreds out there is going viral. It talks about the pressure that Sridevi was apparently under to look her best all the time. It talks about Sridevi’s constant endeavours to look younger and the treatments she apparently went through to look the way that she did. The text of the post is being attributed to Piyali Ganguli who is apparently close to a couple of other Bollywood celebrities.

The post talks about how Piyali met Sridevi about five years back and found her gorgeous but very unhappy. Piyali has also included in the text that she found that Sridevi was under constant pressure to keep her weight in-check, have a wrinkle-free face and the fact that the actress did not trust her own beauty. Piyali even questioned whether we need a '#metoo' movement in fashion or even a '#notsize0'. She even questioned as to why Sridevi's husband, Boney Kapoor never intervened in all of this. "Did he love the way she looked as his arm candy more than he loved her?" she questioned. She even referred to the legendary actress as 'a clothes horse'.

Lots of social media users have been sharing the post and expressing what they feel in regards to the text but the initial post, which cannot be traced down anymore, is said to have been posted by Piyali.

Social media users haven't taken this this post very well. Here's how they have reacted to it:
