What favourite food of Meghan Markle’s has the Queen banned in the Royal Palaces?

Being a Royal has its own perks, but you also have to succumb to rules and regulations that have come down years. The worst of them happens to be when you cannot even eat what you want in the Royal Palaces.

Pasta, which happens to be one of Duchess, Meghan Markle’s favourite foods has been banned by the Queen in the palaces because she does not apparently like starchy foods. Darren McGrady, author of ‘Eating Royally’ and the official chef of the Royals for more than 15 years recently said in an interview to Recipes Plus, “Unless for special occasions and dinner parties, The Queen would avoid these foods. Her daily eating menu typically consists of grilled fish or chicken with two types of vegetables. She is also a fan of big bowls of salad, oh, and don’t forget fresh fruit”.

Back in 2013, in an interview, Meghan had said, “seafood and pasta” when asked what her favourite foods were. Sad, isn’t it? Well, looking onto the brighter side, the Queen and Meghan both stick to a mostly-vegan diet. So, that’s one thing they have in common…
