Will Aishwarya Rai Bachchan star in 'Raat Aur Din' remake?

For quite some time now there have been rumours that two A-list Bollywood actresses were in the race to star in the remake of the film 'Raat Aur Din'. There were rumours that either Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Madhuri Dixit was stepping into yesteryear actress Nargis’ shoes in the remake of the dark thriller. But now, all rumours have been put to rest as it has reportedly been confirmed that it is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who will be stepping into the role.
There were also reports that Abbas-Mustan were to produce the film. However, now the latest buzz is that Aishwarya is supposed to play the role of a woman who suffers from multiple personality disorder in the film, which is now being produced by Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor. The actress has recently finished shooting for her upcoming film 'Fanne Khan' which is also made by the same producers. Reportedly, Siddharth Anand will direct the 'Raat Aur Din' remake.
