The entire world mourned the death of renowned fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld when he passed away at the age of 85, on Tuesday. Many celebrities took to their social media handles to pay their respects to the fashion mogul. And while Karl Lagerfeld is amongst the most known fashion designers, his cat Choupette seems to be just as famous as he is. And after this recent news, chances are that the cat just might become the most famous one in the world.

As per reports, the white fluffy Burmese cat might just inherit a slice of Karl's estimated $200-million (176-million-euro) fortune. He had long ago spoken about how he had ensured that Choupette would always be cared for. “Choupette is a rich girl,” he had once said to a French channel, which could also hint that he has included her name in his will. “She has her own fortune,” he added, which is estimated to be around three million euros ($3.4 million).

“If anything happens the person who looks after her will not go without,” said Lagerfeld. Choupette isn't only famous in the world of fashion but even has a book dedicated to her name. Lagerfeld is said to have thought so fondly of the feline that had she passed away before he did, he would have her ashes scattered with his own and his mother’s. Stay tuned for more updates.
