Filmmaker Rahul Mittra recently rubbished rumours that his film with Sanjay Dutt titled 'Torbaaz' was being shelved. Talking about the film, he said, “We’re shooting two huge action sequences and three songs over a 45-day schedule in Bishkek with our lead pair, Sanjay Dutt and Nargis Fakhri. We start on April 17 in Kyrgyzstan and will also be travelling to Uzbekistan.” The film will see Nargis in the role of an NGO worker, Ayesha, who looks after refugee kids in war-torn Afghanistan. Sanjay, on the other hand, plays the role of an army officer who teaches young suicide bombers cricket in a bid to divert their attention from the violence around.

Rahul further added, “But what’s most exciting is that he has recreated, ‘O Meri Aangan Ki Chidiya Hai Tu’, revolving around a father-daughter relationship in a melodious tune for 'Torbaaz'. It is one of the five songs Sanjay wrote during his stay in Yerwada jail and is deeply emotional. When he hummed it to us during our recent meetings, we were keen he sing it himself. He has a great ear for music and has set it to tune himself.” Well, looks like we'll get to hear Sanjay's melodious voice in the film. Stay tuned for more updates.
