Will we be spotting Janhvi Kapoor alongside Ranveer Singh in next Rohit Shetty film?

If you think Rohit Shetty is relaxing post his Rs 200 crore-grosser 'Golmaal Again', let us tell you that you can't be more wrong. The filmmaker is all set with another project for which he has already finalised his leading actor. Rohit will soon be making a remake of South film, 'Temper' which released in 2015 and will be casting Ranveer Singh as the lead actor in it. And even before the project goes on floors, he has found himself amidst speculations of the leading actress. The most recent one being that he will be casting Janhvi Kapoor alongside Ranveer in the remake.
To this, he said, "I don't know where this news came from. For the second time in the past few weeks, after previously shunning speculations that Kajal Aggarwal had been selected for the part. I have not finalised the leading lady. The cast will be decided only when the final draft is ready early next year." About Singh's casting, the filmmaker said, "I'm sure he'll do justice to the part." The movie will have several action sequences and given Ranveer's energy, he is sure that the actor will make for a great pick in the film.
Shetty has purchased the rights for his outing however, the filmmaker said that he will only borrow from the original. "Around 20 percent of the original story will be retained; the rest will be amended to suit our audience. We will start rolling next year," he said.
