Directed by Patty Jenkins, the first-ever solo live action movie on Princess Diana of Themyscira is set to release next month
Warner Bros and DC Comics are all set to soon release their first female superhero-oriented movie, 'Wonder Woman'. Directed by Patty Jenkins, the first-ever solo live action movie on Princess Diana of Themyscira is set to release next month. However, there has been not much buzz or promotions surrounding the movie.

Reports by Uproxx revealed that the number of trailers and special promotional videos created for 'Wonder Woman' is relatively lower as compared to that of 'Suicide Squad', which released last summer and the upcoming 'Justice League', which will come out next fall.

With a month to go for the release of the first-ever WB/DC solo female superhero live-action film, the makers have not been out-and-out with the promotions. The last trailer of 'Wonder Woman' was released in March, with no new trailers having released since.

However, contrary to upset fans, according to reports by iSpot, Warner Bros has spent approximately $400,000 more in television advertising on 'Wonder Woman' than they did on 'Suicide Squad' in the same timeline.

With many fans counting on the movie, let's hope that the studio heads take notice and start promoting the movie. In the trailers and teasers that have been released thus far, the makers have gone out of their way to keep the name of the main villain under wraps. And, has briefly hinted at Wonder Woman’s true biological origins that must remain a secret forever.

Directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot, 'Wonder Woman' is all set to release on June 2.
