It was just yesterday that we brought to you what went on at the Commonwealth Fashion Exchange hosted by Duchess Kate Middleton and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex on behalf of the Queen. However, today we've come across a picture of the 91-year-old gracing the front row of the London Fashion Week as it comes to an end.

The Queen made a rare appearance at the 'FROW' at the Richard Quinn show flanked between British Fashion Council Chief Executive Caroline Rush and fashion royalty, Anna Wintour. Arriving at the venue, the London's BFC Show Space, the Queen looked all things fashionable herself. She worked a slightly shimmery light blue skirt suit, black gloves, black purse and pearls. With a dash of red for her smile and a black patent bag, she rounded off her look to make her appearance.

She watched attentively as models walked the runway. And despite the Queen's classic style that she is known for, she saw some avant-garde looks hit the catwalk and she even seemed to enjoy the show quite a bit! She also perused some hats prior to taking her seat. God knows that she has one vast hat collection herself! Her Majesty attending the London Fashion Week was certainly a highlight of the season. She also presented the first-ever Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design, which was created to recognise "the role the fashion industry plays in society & diplomacy," as announced by the Buckingham Palace. This year, London-born designer Richard Quinn took home the prize.

Now, this is what we call 'making a special appearance'.
