We all know what it's like to be putting eyeliner and then mess the whole thing up. One quiver of the hand and your cat-eye goes from sexy to droopy, right? This makes our mornings chaotic and in order to salvage our looks, we end up getting late. Don't you all too? Well, today we've got you'll 5 easy fixes to salvage that messy situation. Here's your answer to all your eyeliner woes...

1. Let the eyeliner dry

Most of us get impatient and think that immediately wiping away liquid eyeliner is the best bet, but makeup artist, Harry Rajput said to a leading fashion magazine that we should let the liquid dry completely for about two-three minutes and then go in with a dry cotton bud. It will usually come off effortlessly unless it’s waterproof. But waiting for the eyeliner to dry is definitely worth it.

2. Use a concealer

If you mess up your freshly applied eyeliner wing, follow the above steps. If there is still some black colour left, apply your concealer to the area, let it dry and pat it to cover the remaining eyeliner. If you have already wiped before drying, just dab a few dots of concealer on top of the messed up eyeliner and wipe it off in dabbing motions, using a beauty blender or a synthetic makeup brush.

3. Turn your eyeliner into a smokey eye

If your go-to cat-eye goes for a toss, try switching it to something new, like a sexy smokey eye. Now this, by now, we all know how to achieve. And with a messy eyeliner, you're already half-way there!

4. Reach out for makeup remover

If you applied your thickest eyeliner and messed it up badly, use a remover and clean out the eyeliner. After that, wipe the area with a clean cotton bud. Don’t drench the bud, or it will run and mess up the rest of your makeup.

5. Start small

While creating a thick, sharp eyeliner wing, remember that starting out with a thin line is crucial. Creating a skinny line gives you room to go back and fix it or add to it if you mess up.
