After platform Crocs, here are roller-skate heels!

The madness just won’t stop, will it? After a major jolt that we received with yesterday’s platform Crocs that debuted on the runway at Paris Fashion Week, here’s something crazier we came across today. Roller-skate heels! And while most of us womenfolk find it quite a feat to walk in stilettos, are we really expected to skate our way through in heels? Seriously now?

A Paris based label has unveiled their latest collection featuring glam stilettos with roller-skates attached underneath. The brain-child of Anthony Vaccarello features three-plus inch stiletto heels in various bold colours and designs including pearls, snakeskin, sequins and more! The perfectly sculpted heels look gorgeous and seem like usual stilettos until you reach the bottom. And then BAM go the wheels!

The wheeled pumps are a take on sneakers with the hidden wheel that took to the fashion scene a while back…only more high fashion this time around. And since scooting around in shoes wasn’t enough, now we’ve got heels to do that in. These rather cool shoes are rumoured to set you back by a whopping $1,995, according to Twitter and we aren’t sure what to think. We’re still wrapping our heads around wheeled footwear and this might just take us a bit to digest.

The brand has clearly forayed into futuristic heels with these roller pumps (as we like to call them) which might just become the next big thing…or maybe not? All we can do is wait and watch.
