Alia Bhatt's take on 'disco-fashion' is sexy and wearable!

With another major awards night in the radar, celebrities planned to deck up for the occasion months ago. Hosted by a leading fashion magazine, this awards night celebrated the most sartorially forward celebrities in the country. Naturally, with stakes up so high, Bollywood celebrities only put forward their most fashionable foot forward.
The evening saw young stars and yesteryear legends stealing the limelight at the red carpet. However, despite all the stylish looks we witnessed, Alia Bhatt’s sexy, sultry and somehow do-able version of 90s disco stole our hearts.
For the awards night, Alia chose a sparkling sequined gown by American designer Michael Costello. The sequinned gown featured cut-outs at the waist, a kimono sleeve and a high thigh slit.
Keeping the disco vibe in mind, Alia roughed up her usually silky smooth hair to imitate a rough, voluminous look, which she then tied them into a neat pony. For her makeup, she dialled up her strong bows and kept the base glowing and simple. Her eyes were smokey but earthy. A pink tone highlighter and a matching pink pout finished off her makeup.
With a glittering number to work with, Alia kept her accessory game rather simple. Just a pair of sparkling silver sandals to finish off. That’s it.
