Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are now man and wife. And just when we were getting over their fairytale wedding and their gorgeous wedding looks, the couple has upped their style at their recently-thrown wedding reception. Anushka, after her pastel bridal lehenga, the actress opted for a bolder look by going with a red Sabyasachi Benarsi saree for the night. She accessorised her look with a regal gold and diamond choker-jhumka set thus looking everything like a traditional Indian bride. Like for her wedding, this time too, she pulled back her hair into a severely centre-parted slicked-back bun which she adorned with mogra strings. With kohled winged eyes and nude lips, she rounded it off. The actress even threw in a red bindi and a long and strong streak of Vermillion. Stunning, isn't she?
Virat too was dressed in Sabyasachi from head to toe. Throwing light on his ensemble, the designer Instagrammed, “Virat chose to complement his new bride in a very subtle and elegant manner. He wore a black textured silk signature bandhgala with the house buttons in 18k gold and a white silk kurta with hand-woven brocade churidar. He teamed it with mojris from the Sabyasachi accessories line and a hand-embroidered antique Pashmina shawl from our ‘Kashmir Revival’ project.”
