Delhi Times Fashion Week: Day 1 kicks off to a great start!

The most-awaited fashion event of the season is finally here. Yes, we're talking about the Delhi Times Fashion Week. Just like it has before, this time too the fashion show kicked off to a great start with several uber-talented designers' fabulous collections displayed on the ramp. The extravagant show has only left us longing for more and we can hardly await the two days it has to offer next.



The show took off with designer Ritu Beri's Khadi Couture Show, taking khadi from pret to couture through her collection. A mishmash of vibrant, bold and sparkly colours teamed with some elaborate motifs and embroidery, her collection totally blew us away. Take a look-see for yourself:








After such a fab display of colours, the ATDC - Apparel Training And Design Centre presented their gorgeous collection on the ramp. Featuring a fusion of Indo-Western attires with a mix of subtle and bold colours, their collection left everyone impressed. Miss India second runner-up Shreya Rao also took to the ramp for them.

Orient Electric presents Narendra Kumar, who has made his mark in menswear brought some of his best creations to the fashion show. He teamed neons with bold colours to present the perfect blend of retro meets modern through his designs.

And finally, bringing the Day 1 to a wrap was an extravagant collection by Sulakshana Monga that left the audience gasping for more. Her designs were an amalgamation of embellished bridal and evening-wear collection which borrowed from the tones of the moonlight. Actress Yami Gautam walked the ramp as showstopper for the designer.
