Designers all set to showcase their collections at Delhi Times PCJ India Showcase Week 2017

The Delhi Times PCJ India Showcase Week, which will be held at Roseate House, Aerocity , from March 25 to 27 will have names like Mandira Wirk, Ritu Beri, Rocky S present their collection. Here is a sneak peek of what can one expect from the designers this season!

Mandira Wirk
Mandira Wirk's designer label has evolved over the last 16 years and today is known for its exquisite sense of luxury & modernism, symbolic of subtlety, feminity and romanticism. Talking about her collection, Mandira, who will opening the Delhi Times PCJ India Showcase Week 2017 said that the clothes this season are serene and understated. The latest Resort-Wear collection will focus on fresh flowers of spring and fresher beach vibes, the hues of the sunrise, sunset and the moonlight in between. The colors are mood elevating & the embroideries are inspired by the flowers of utopia, delicate daisies and deco-vines in similar vivid hues. Zesty and filled with love; the collection is the personification of her love of beach, the serene moonlight and bare feet in the cool sand.

Rocky Star
Ace designer Rocky Star will be showcasing his collection, 'Shringara' on the second day of the Delhi Times PCJ India Showcase Week 2017. Talking about the theme and inspiration behind the same, the designer said, "This season, the Rocky Star label celebrates love, and its many moods bringing together decorative prints, handcrafted textures and opulent embroideries. The colour palette includes shades of grey, mysterious forest greens and light pastels which enhance the feelings of fear and joy. Voluminous dramatic silhouettes and flattering cuts are a coalition of beauty and drama. Soft, fluid georgettes and chiffons highlight the romanticism in the collection. It is a perfect depiction of the relationship between the individual and the divine."

Ritu Beri
Ritu Beri will be closing the India Showcase Week 2017 collection on with a grand finale show. Talking about her muse, Ritu said, "If I close my eyes and think of the woman I dress, I can picture her enjoying an espresso alone at a terrace cafe in Paris. She will be trendily clad in an out-of- the-box jacket with a leather harness and a tie. Her glossy hair pulled back into a severe pony tail and her eyes gazing into the distance at a beautiful unachievable dream. There is a hint of a smile playing on her lips and an enigmatic aura envelope her. You notice her in totality- not her scarf or her gloves or her hat-she reflects a distinct personality, a riveting attitude." When asked about her collection this season, Beri said, "This show is about captivating looks that reflect the essence of 'who you are' & not merely about 'the clothes you wear'!
