Diana Penty’s graceful saree gown has our hearts!

A celebrity sporting a saree will always have our attention. Is it because you can rarely go wrong with it or the fact that we’re all ultimately desi girls or the indomitable charm of the nine yards? Diana Penty’s look at her second day of Cannes was a culmination of all the three.

Diana Penty was amongst the attendes for FICCI Forum at the India Pavilion. For the sombre occasion, Diana chose a graceful saree gown by Ammit Aggarwal. Fashioned like a wrap dress, the satin gown was cinched together at the waist with a matching belt. The ruffled one shoulder pallu doubled as a trail. Ingenious!





With matching pearl necklace, earrings and necklace from Aquamarine and ivory heels by Sergio Rossi Diana was determined to keep the look all-white and all-uring. (See what we did there?)

With a blush toned eye makeup, thick lashes, a tasteful use of highlighter and bright red lipstick, Diana’s makeup seemed like a classic choice. Her braided hairdo may have pretty much sealed the deal. A look like this makes a brilliant choice for a cocktail night.
