Back in the days when life was much normal than it is right now, you didn't really spend minutes thinking which germ and which virus can crawl over places. But now that we're all in this pandemic together facing the fear of death due to coronavirus, we really need to keep our sanitary game strong even if it's got anything to do with our beauty routine. That's right, your beauty routine too needs to be switched into a more sanitized one and we've got you covered on it.

- First and foremost, wash your hands. As much as you can, every hour, every time you touch something, before and after you do chores. Basically, keep your hands clean at all times before you even touch your face. Although, make sure you aren't using a harsh cleanser on your hands as it can harm the protective skin on and weaken it.

- Don't reuse towels, especially for your face and hands. Your eyes, mouth and nose are susceptible to virus transmission and your hands can pass the germs. Hence, using separate towels will always make more sense in this period.

- You're all gonna sit at home all day all night, you don't need to have those accessories on at all times. Avoid wearing rings and other accessories as the virus can live up to four hours on copper, which is in a lot of jewelry and three days on stainless steel.

- Keep your nails filed and short. Don't only focus on how you like your nail length to be long. Right now is not the time to obsess over you nails. So, cut them short and clean them regularly. An easy way to clean your nails is by simulating that you are scratching your palms once the cleanser has created suds. This will ensure that the cleanser cleans under your nails.

- Keep your hair tied in a ponytail or a bun and use less hair products. Since you aren't stepping out of the house at all now, just keep your hair tied and safe from the virus. You also don't need any hair products during these days and so you must minimize the use of the same. This is recommended because products like mousse and dry shampoo can leave the hair all the more susceptible to holding onto the viruses as they are usually sticky substances.
