Esha Gupta graces the launch of sister and designer, Neha Gupta’s SS18 collection!

Designer, Neha Gupta happens to not only be fashionista, Esha Gupta’s sister but also a brilliant designer and she recently unveiled her Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Her label titled, Ranian featured a collection christened as ‘Ghazal’. The outfits in this collection feature that balance between modern times and the era which was rich in culture and heritage.

The garments included those in organza, in various blends of silk and beautifully embroidered ones too. 3D sequins and old embroidery techniques too have been incorporated throughout the collection and the colour palette ranged from flirty pearly ivory to bright tones of red. While the event was graced by many, it was only fitting that fashionista and sister, Esha Gupta showed up at the launch and what can we say…she simply looked spectacular in a bright yellow saree featuring crystal floral work on the border from Ranian (obviously).

Talking to the media, Neha opened up about her collection. “The entire collection is on summer wedding and summer resort-wear,” she said. She also opened up about the designs and the ideology behind them. She said that while she wanted to keep it festive looking, she wanted to cater to brides having destination weddings who want to keep it light and comfortable with their wedding trousseaus too. Esha also opened up about what she loves about her sister’s new collection and in addition, she also revealed that the colour she was wearing, yellow, is actually her favourite colour!
