Established in 1986, Footwear Design & Development Institute aims at imparting appropriate knowledge and skills to promote the rapid growth of footwear and allied industry in the country. Been granted the status of “Institution of National Importance” under the FDDI Act 2017, the FDDI aims at bridging the skill gap in the areas of footwear, leather accessory and lifestyle products. And today, budding designers from the FDDI have kicked off day three, the last day of the Delhi Times Fashion week with a bang!

Let’s start off with the men. The men that took to the ramp were seen donning casual looks that featured casual pants teamed with leather jackets, some buttoned-up whilst the others left open, both, long and short. Velvet capes too took to the ramp. As for the women, the range was vast. They were seen working several silhouettes including the likes of mini skirts, dresses, elaborate evening gowns and floor-grazing drapes teamed with crop-tops and cropped pants. Patchwork, leather ensembles and tasselled looks also took to the runway.

The colour palette used was a vast one. From metallic looks in silver to white, green and even yellow, the colours used were varied. A certain section of the show was filled with rust, ochre and brown shades too! Want to check out what it was like? We’ve got a few pics for your enjoyment right here. Scroll through and enjoy…
