Here are 3 ways to go subtle with makeup this Christmas

Now, that Christmas is finally upon us, you might be wondering which outfits to wear to look perfect for this holiday season. But honestly, we all know that makeup is just as important as your outfits. For all of you who don't want to go too bold with your makeup this holiday season, here are 3 ways to go subtle and still look like a total boss.


Let’s start off with probably ‘the’ fashionista of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone. This Christmas, if you’re going the shimmery way by opting for bright or metallic hues, we say do your makeup the way Deepika has in her shimmery all-gold gown. Work a light bronze-ish look all over to keep it refreshing. You could even add that dash of matching eye-shadow and then balance out the bright look with nude lips.

Unlike Deepika’s shimmery look, if you want to opt for a more subtle simple outfit, you could do away with all makeup other than eye makeup, like Sonam has. And if you don't want to go bold with your eye makeup you could go for shades of silver and copper eye shadows. You could also give it that smokey look by adding some black powder to the mix. And if you want to take it down a notch further you could opt for a casual no makeup look like Kangana has. You could go for a nude finish eye shadow and a skin tone highlighter to highlight your cheekbones. Opt for a neutral pink lip colour to keep it looking natural.
