Karan Johar takes the embroidered trend to a whole new level

It's an established fact that Karan Johar is a shoe enthusiast. You knew that right? Well, other than being rather vocal about most things (and we love it), Karan also seems to be quite the risk-taker with his style. However, this time around...we're not sure if it played out that well. We spotted the celebrated director work a trendy fad in a rather unique way with his formal ensemble whilst attending the India Economic Summit.
Karan worked a formal custom-made suit for the event but knowing him, he threw in a few twists to his look and we're not too sure whether we love them or not. So, here go the deets: the collar of Karan's crisp white shirt featured an embroidered motif of a Tiger. Yep, you read right. Stretching from left to right, the motif added a rather quirky twist to Karan's formal look.
And like always, Karan rounded up his look with statement shoes from one of his favourite luxury brands. Featuring spikes, his black slip-ons made for funky additions to his sharp look and definitely spiced things up if nothing else. With his hair cut short and with a clean-shaven look, the director looked rather dapper.
