Lakmé Fashion Week 2019: Day 4 was a star studded event!

The city of Mumbai is currently witnessing the biggest fashion event in the country – the Lakmé Fashion Week – where you will the best of Indian designers showcasing their sartorial best. The fourth day of the 5 daylong event commenced yesterday. Not only did the event see some daring fashion moments, Indian opulence but also a very star studded ramp!

The day began with Anurag Gupta’s Esse and Jajabor collection – a refreshing take on 70s grunge and westernized Indian staples.






We then a saw three fearless, bright, eclectic collection by a trio of young designers – bloni, Salita Nanda and SWGT

Sobhita Dhulipala also walked the ramp!


We then saw a collection of stripes and checks – that celebrated our Indian weave. The makers? Tahweave. In awe of their minimal collection.


Then came Anushree Reddy amped up with her brand of traditional bridal wear. A burst of colour, weave and a beautiful blend of Indian with contempary – Arpita Mehta’s collection also made quite the mark.
Ananya Panday also made her debut on the ramp!





6 Degree Platform a young, talented bunch of designers, all showcasing their fresh on fashion staples. Rhea Chakrobaorty ,Shibani Dandekar and Adah Sharma walked as show stopper.







We also saw Aysuhmann Khurrana look all kinds of dapper for Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna's collection of menswear. Disha Patni made a stellar show stopper for the designer duo’s collection for women.
